Yolanda served as the assistant to the Director of Olympic Operations at ABC Sports planning the biggest party of the 1980’s – The 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. ABC Sports was awarded the contract to act as host broadcaster and Ms. Allen was pivotal in planning the space, budget, and technical requirements for the international broadcasting community.

She later was involved in planning numerous national, regional and local staff meetings while a member of the administrative team of City of Hope National Medical Center’s Development Center and coordinated the fundraising efforts of fourteen satellite offices across the country. TLC will also be in attendance for a special follow up episode on Cynthia, featuring lottery winners and where they are now.
